Its Dueling Time!

Happy Wednesday! Its our December Dueling Time....

This month our hostess was Terry, and she sent out an awesome card kit! Our theme is My Favorite Things, and since its winter she choose snowmen and snowflakes.

One of my favorite things in the winter would have to also be snowmen and snowflakes...because its sure not the cold weather. The other favorite is summer and being by a lake.

Here is my card...I hope you like it!

Another Duel....

Time for another duel....

This months topic is Thanksgiving/Gratitude. We were also challenged to think of someone that we are most grateful for and write about that person. It was hard for me to pick just one, so I will mention the others too. This year alot of things have changed for us, and my kids have been very flexible and adaptable. I also need to mention my online friends from SCS...loving referred to as my Forest Friends, they are kind, generous, and great listeners too. I ♥ you all.

The person I'm going to write about is my friend Jill, she is awesome! Jill is smart, funny, and a great listener. Most of all we can talk about anything and everything, she will lovingly offer advise and/or her opinion without judgement. The best thing is she takes the time out of her busy week to chat so we can check in with each other. She is a great travel buddy too.  I ♥ you, Jill.

Here is my card...hope you like it,

Dueling Darlings Round 3

Its dueling time......Our theme this month is 'Treasured Friend - Mystery Swap'. We received our card kit from our lovely hostess Deb, with the instruction of using a recycled/treaured item. It took me a bit but I did find some items to use. My mystery items are the navy blue background is a piece from a shopping bag that I reversed embossed, and the light blue button is from my used button stash. The layout is clean and simple. Thanks Deb for a great kit! Thanks for taking peek at my blog today!

Each month a different member sends out card kits to her team, and we put together cards to post on our blogs on the 15th of the month. This month our card kits were sent to us by our dear friend Melina. Our September theme is "Cute and Fluffy".
