Dueling Time....

Hi Friends....

Its time for our April duel....Terry was our hostess this month, and the kit she sent was fabulous! Our challenge was to make a card for the guy in our life. Masculine cards are something that I don't have alot this was a great challenge.

Items in our kit....
Images: 'On the Fly' - SU!
Ribbon: Black grosgrain - Celebrate it (Michaels)
Metal Ring - rectangle - Paper Studio
Metal Dots - Colorbok (silver)

There was so much in the kit, that I used just part of it....

The guy in my life is my son....he is an amazing young man. He just recently completed his schooling, and has moved to Pennsylvania to start a new job. I miss him, but am so proud of him.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Great card! Love how you too colored the image. Going to have to case the layout. I really like how the images are "off" the DP.

  2. What a striking card clean and crisp. Very eye catching and wonderful. I love your layout, the use of the kit and your coloring of the image...all just perfect. I really love this did an amazing job...two thumbs up!!!!

  3. Well, look at that! We had very similar ideas on the fisherman's attire! Great card Michelle :)

  4. Wow! Wonderful card, Michelle! Love the color scheme and the layout! Great coloring too! The perfect masculine card!!!

  5. The colors you chose are just perfect, M. They are so vivid! I really like the layout and the ring with the ribbon is the perfect thing to complete the card. Great job!

  7. Great card how you used the kit, colored your image and created a great layout!

It's cool to see how different everyone used the kit I sent and I am glad you liked it!

    Great job on the challenge!!

  8. beautiful masculine card Michelle! Love how U placed both immies on alternate panels backed by red c/ sure makes the card pop! (seems we have 'red' in common fro our cards...*wink* )....Your son will treasure it fondly I am sure...tfs ♥

  9. What a wonderful card, Michelle! I like how your red framing sets off the coloring of your images. It accents the background DP at the same time! (how come I never think of this?) Loved hearing about your son and his success! You must be very proud and happy for him!
